Why we made the SkooCam Trigger Bar Replacement
The founder is a member of the local Squamish Search and Rescue team and he loves to create solutions to problems. The idea for the SkooCam after talking to a fellow search and rescue rope team member who also works at a local rock-climbing specialty shop. Perfectly good cams need to be replaced when the trigger bar breaks, which is expensive for our penny-pinching climbing friends. Plus, a complete waste of an otherwise still functional cam. The SkooCam trigger bar replacement is the cost effective and sustainable solution.

PETG is one of the most popular filaments for 3D prints because it has high impact strength, durability , resistance to water intrusion and good printability offering excellent layer adhesion. PETG is a food-safe material and is recyclable.
